Built on Bedrock May Demo Night
We hosted a Built on Bedrock demo night on May 13th at the AWS Gen AI loft in San Francisco.
It was a great night to see the latest in Generative AI from Bay Area startups.
The presentations included applications of Gen AI in agentic-AI, code reviews, data analysis, AI security, app development.
Each of the startups who presented works with Amazon Bedrock — Amazon’s fully managed generative AI service.
The evening started with a demo of Nova Sonic, Amazon’s speech-to-speech model, presented by Jean Malha.

Presenters
Bito
Bito, presented by Alexander Tibbets and Anand Das, is Gen AI code review platform. They build AI-powered developer agents. The first offering is a code review agent that replicates human level code review including comments, suggestions, and code fixes. It looks at existing code, and code changes, and looks at the context to identify which files to look at, and does the code review and suggests fixes. It works during pull requests and prior to merges.
Camel AI
Camel AI, presented by Miguel Salinas and Illiana Reed, is an AI-native, data-analyst agent. It connects directly to a customer’s data warehouse, data lake, or database. Users can ask natural-language questions of the data to get answers and charts. In addition to the answer, it creates a visualization with a report of the qualitative analysis.
GenSpark
GenSpark, presented by Lenjoy Lin, is a consumer-facing AI agent for everyone. They recently launched the GenSpark super-agent, leading to rapid monthly adoption and $22M ARR. GenSpark has three key features: super-agent, AI slides, and AI spreadsheets. To create slides, a user can provide info, like videos or a blog, and GenSpark will understand those, summarize the info, and come up with the structure, talking points, and images for the slides. Super-agent can create personalized videos too. For example, it can create videos, including audio, for a recipe or an animated cartoon based on current news.
mrge
mrge, presented by Allis Yao, is a gen AI code review platform, to help customers ship quality code faster. The platform helps ensure code is high quality, well-architected, and bug free. It also finds other files in the codebase, even if they are not part of the pull-request so the agent has the most relevant context. It can look at the codebase both objectively and subjectively. It features visualization charts to understand changes before even looking at the code.
Straiker
Straiker, presented by Ankur Shah, secures AI applications and agents. Straiker can prevent data leaks, data poisoning, reasoning manipulation, jailbreaks, exfiltration of data, and “autonomous chaos.” Straiker combats agent tool manipulation that attempts to disclose data information.
Vibecode
Vibecode, presented by Kehan Zhang, is a mobile app that enables users to build other mobile apps, on their phone, via vibe coding.
